The need for cornerbacks is on the rise. Whether it be bewilderingly athletic corners, big corners, or nickelback corners, NFL help wanted signs are popping up.

The four best young cornerbacks are:

  1. CB Richard Sherman, Seattle Seahawks
  2. CB Joe Haden, Cleveland Browns
  3. CB Chris Harris Jr., Denver Broncos
  4. CB Patrick Peterson, Arizona Cardinals

Sherman is a tall, physical cornerback. At 6’3″, 195 pounds, Sherman looks like a wide receiver. He is tough, aggressive, and is not afraid to speak his thoughts and cause trouble.

Haden is 5’11”, 190 pounds, and is extremely talented. He is physical for his height and is quick. As long as he stays out of trouble, he will be among the NFL’s top corners for a long time.

Harris is mostly unknown around the league. At 5’10”, 190 pounds, he played both outside and in the nickel. Bleacher Report rated him as the third best cornerback in the league.

Peterson is extremely athletic. He’s 6’1″, 219 pounds and has a knack for making plays. He’s a game changer on defense as well as a returner.

These cornerbacks will wreak havoc in 2013 and beyond. They are talented and display the spectrum of cornerback variety.
