Chiefs Promote DC/Interim HC Romeo Crennel to Head Coach
After HC Todd Haley was fired by the Chiefs, DC Romeo Crennel was promoted and was the interim coach for the rest of the season. Crennel led KC to two wins in three weeks to close out the season. Notably, one win ended the Packers’ perfect season campaign. Crennel’s team showed firepower and as the season came to a close, the Chiefs really wanted to win for the head man.
Raiders Fire HC Hue Jackson
After a mediocre 8-8 season, the Raiders new GM Reggie McKenzie decided to fire HC Hue Jackson. Jackson’s Week 17 postgame speech, where he blamed the team, did not blame the coaches, and was just completely flipped out that his team did not make the playoffs. Jackson said that he was “shocked” by the move. McKenzie is evidently on a plan to completely change this organization, and in a positive way.
RG3 Enters Draft
After QB’s Matt Barkley and Landry Jones decided not to enter the draft, Baylor QB Robert Griffin III is going to play at the next level. RG3 won the Heisman and was spectacular this season, and is definitely a Top 10 prospect. While Andrew Luck currently stands as the best Quarterback in this year’s draft, Griffin will absolutely be selected in the Top 10.
