Much speculation has been engulfing quarterback prospect Ryan Tannehill.
The signal caller could be selected as high as fourth overall (Cleveland Browns) but he undoubtedly should not be picked that high. However, due to the sky-scraping need for quarterbacks, he will be overdrafted.
The Miami Dolphins, who currently possess the eighth overall pick, are desperately due for a quality quarterback. Hall of Fame quarterback and former Dolphin Dan Marino was absolutely unstoppable, but no recent ‘Phin has even threatened to touch his stats.
Cleveland and Miami are the two frontrunners to land the former wide receiver. On the other hand, they need to recognize that they are indeed overdrafting him. He is very raw (which can be considered a positive) but only played one and a half seasons of college quarterback.
He’s a gamble and should be a late first round pick, but will end up in the top ten.
