Despite coming off of a torn ACL, trade rumors have been reported involving New York Jets CB Darrelle Revis.
Revis’s value is smaller than what it would have been without the injury, but nonetheless this trade would make sense for multiple teams.
Trade options would include the Green Bay Packers, Washington Redskins, and the Denver Broncos.
The Packers have an aging defense, and Revis would give them stability. CB Charles Woodson will likely switch to safety, and Revis could fill in for Woodson at the cornerback position.
The ‘Skins would like all the defensive help they can get. QB Robert Griffin III is still in the early stages of his career, and an elite defense is every signal caller’s dream.
Lastly, the Broncos are in a similar situation to the Pack. CB Champ Bailey may move to safety in the near future, and the rest of the Broncos cornerback crew is very inexperienced for the most part.
These three teams would make sense for Revis, especially on a short-term contract.
