Just got off the phone w Ronde Barber who told me he is officially retiring. “I’ve had a better run than I ever could’ve dreamed of having.”

Barber’s amazing career all started in ’97, when he was picked in the 3rd round out of Virginia. Barber’s career unfolded in a magical manner. He was productive and a crucial team leader.
Barber made the switch from cornerback to free safety before the 2012 season, and became a free agent. He never signed, however, his legacy still stands pat as one of the NFL’s most elite defensive backs to play the game.
