Tampa Bay Buccaneers DB Ronde Barber had a fantastic career. Barber’s prodigious impact on the Buccaneers organization spanned over three decades. He even played against his brother, former New York Giants RB Tiki Barber.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers DB Ronde Barber is one of the best players to ever don a Tampa Bay jersey.

Since 1997, Barber has tallied 1025 tackles. Barber is a five time Pro Bowler and won Super Bowl XXXVII with a 48-21 rout of the Oakland Raiders.

Barber decided to hang up his cleats after a Hall of Fame caliber career on Wednesday, according to FOX Sports NFL Insider Jay Glazer.

Barber’s amazing career all started in ’97, when he was picked in the 3rd round out of Virginia. Barber’s career unfolded in a magical manner. He was productive and a crucial team leader.

Barber made the switch from cornerback to free safety before the 2012 season, and became a free agent. He never signed, however, his legacy still stands pat as one of the NFL’s most elite defensive backs to play the game.
