It’s never easy to pull out a win in the Pacific Northwest.

Playing at home is always an advantage compared to the away team. For the Seattle Seahawks, playing at home has a whole different meaning.

The  Seahawks are completely isolated in the Pacific Northwest. Not many opposing fans dare travel to Washington because the trip is generally a long haul unless you are rooting for an NFC/AFC West team. Additionally, the Seahawks tend to smother teams in Seattle.

QB Russell Wilson has reenergized the fan base—known as the 12th man—and set a new culture for Seattle football. The defense stepped up their game recently, and the fans have been a factor. Their noise blurs out opposing teams consistently.

If the Seahawks receive the NFC Home Field Advantage in the playoffs, they will undoubtedly reach the Super Bowl.
