QB Vince Young has been with the Philadelphia Eagles and the Buffalo Bills since the Tennessee Titans released him after the 2010 season.
The two-time Pro Bowler was cut by Buffalo before the 2012 regular season kicked off.
After a try out, the Green Bay Packers and Young punched a contract out, according to Ian Rapoport (Ed Werder first reported the news).

In no way, shape, or form will VY start over current Packers QB Aaron Rodgers. The Pack backup QB’s—Graham Harrell and BJ Coleman—have been subpar. Young is an upgrade, but is still at backup level.
