Pryor hasn’t fully emerged as a starter yet—but he will.
In 2011, the Oakland Raiders spent a third round pick on QB Terrelle Pryor in the Supplemental Draft. back in 2011 The 6’4″, 233-pound former Ohio State Buckeye is currently in the mix for the starting quarterback job.
He’s competing against QB’s Matt Flynn and Tyler Wilson, and has a considerable chance to seize the starting reigns. Flynn is a 2013 free agent acquisition, and Wilson is a 2013 fourth round pick.
Wilson has reportedly fallen out of contention, therefore leaving it up to Pryor and Flynn. Flynn was beaten out by rookie QB Russell Wilson last year, and it is very possible that Pryor snatches the job.
Like Flynn, Pryor has very little playing experience, but the former Buckeye has much more athleticism. Flynn is a better quarterback on a fundamental basis, however, Pryor gives the Raiders’ offense a dynamic edge.
Flynn will win the job, but after a shaky start it is more than likely that Pryor will get the chance to lead this rebuilding squad.
