Spiller was very productive in 2012, but the bar is set higher this season.
Among analyst rankings, Buffalo Bills RB CJ Spiller’s fantasy stock fluctuates immensely. Some view him as a top five running back, others not so much.
Anyhow, Spiller will be a fantasy stud in 2013. Last season, he had 207 carries for 1244 yards and eight touchdowns along with 43 receptions, 459 receiving yards, and two receiving touchdowns.
That’s a whole lot of production, especially when you note that he started only nine contests last season. Spiller took part in all 16 regular season contents, but wasn’t always the go-to guy.
This fall, Spiller will finally seize the feature back role. Counterpart RB Fred Jackson has been hampered with injuries and is well over the 30-year mark. Additionally, Offensive Coordinator Nathaniel Heckert said Spiller will run until he pukes. [Source]
Spiller’s offensive role will only grow, and his fantasy value will imminently follow.
