Lee making a tackle.
The Dallas Cowboys and ILB Sean Lee have agreed to a six-year, $42 Million deal extension that could reach up to $51 Million.
The fourth-year linebacker compiled 58 combined tackles, a forced fumble, and an interception in 2012. He is expected to—at the bare minimum—repeat his productivity this season.
This year, the Cowboys are transitioning from the 3-4 to 4-3 defensive scheme. DC Monte Kiffen was hired this offseason, and his new scheme will place Lee in the feature middle linebacker role.
Lee was a 2010 second-round pick out of Penn State.
