Cushing is a feared linebacker in the NFL.

Houston Texans LB Brian Cushing’s 2012 campaign was cut short due to a torn ACL. After a lucrative six-year, $55.643 Million contract extension, the Texans have higher hopes for their feared linebacker.

Cushing is a maniac on the field, and has had a long offseason to reboot his knee woes. After almost a year without football, expect Number 56 to be as bone-crushing as ever.

The Texans have Super Bowl aspirations, and Cushing has to be 100% for Houston to snag a Lombardi. The former USC Trojan can propel this defense deep into January and possibly February.

In 2011, his most recent 16-game season, Cushing notched 133 combined tackles. If that’s not adequate enough for you, he tacked on four sacks, two interceptions, and two forced fumbles.
