AP warming up before his game.
On his first carry of the season, it’s only fitting that Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson took it 78 yards to the house.
Out of an I-Formation (tight left, slotback right, split end right), QB Christian Ponder opened up right and handed the ball off to Peterson. Peterson cut left and found a hole weakside.
He juked out a defensive back, shucked another DB, broke a tackle, and veered outside of the right hash.
There was no catching Peterson afterward. The Vikes lost to the Detroit Lions 34-24, but Peterson is 93 yards closer to 2500.
