The Jacksonville Jaguars find themselves without a win nearing the season’s halfway mark.

Heading:

  • The Seattle Seahawks added another win to their heap of victories after they defeated the Arizona Cardinals 34-22
  • The Atlanta Falcons beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 31-23, but are 2-4 heading into Week 8
  • QB Cam Newton’s 136.3 passer rating fueled the Carolina Panthers to a 30-15 win over the St. Louis Rams
  • The Cincinnati Bengals defeated the Detroit Lions in a battle of elite wide receivers (Bengals WR AJ Green: 155 Yards, One Touchdown; Lions WR Calvin Johnson: 155 Yards, Two Touchdowns)
  • QB Phillip Rivers posted an impressive 84.6% completion percentage in their 24-6 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars
  • The Buffalo Bills rattled the Miami Dolphins in a 23-21 thriller
  • The New York Jets slid past the New England 30-27 after a penalty enabled the Jets to attempt two game-winning field goals (the latter was converted)
  • The Dallas Cowboys flattened the Philadelphia Eagles’ offense 17-3, and Eagles QB Nick Foles suffered a concussion along the way
  • The Washington Redskins beat the Chicago Bears 45-41 behind RB Roy Helu’s three touchdowns
  • The San Francisco 49ers defeated the rugged Tennessee Titans 31-17
  • The Houston Texans put up a fight against the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs, but ultimately lost 17-16
  • The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Baltimore Ravens 19-16 in one of the quietest Steelers-Ravens match-ups in the last three years
  • The Indianapolis Colts handed the Denver Broncos their first loss 39-33 in Peyton Manning’s long anticipated return home
  • The New York Giants earned their first win in 23-7, but it was against the 1-5 Minnesota Vikings
