Browner returning a preseason fumble to the house.

The Seattle Seahawks defense is known for its tenacity and unparalleled aggressiveness. Talent was smothered over the depth chart, and especially at the cornerback position. CB’s Richard Sherman and Brandon Browner are two of the league’s best.

However, on Monday, a suspension removed half of the lockdown tandem. Browner will be gone for a year.

This news surfaced only a day after another suspension stung the Seattle secondary. CB Walter Thurmond was suspended for four games.

This depleted unit will face New Orleans, San Francisco, New York (G), Arizona, and St. Louis to close out the regular season. Three out of the five are against divisional opponents, having major impact on playoff seeding.
