Munchak Fired By Tennessee

Munchak’s tenure was very short-lived.

The Tennessee Titans have fired HC Mike Munchak. He and the front office were not on the same page regarding the franchise’s future.

Munchak has been with the franchise since 1982, when he was drafted in the first round of the draft as an offensive linemen. The Titans were the Houston Oilers at the time. Since then, Munchak has played and coached the organization. His coaching career began in 1994.

As a Head Coach, Munchak compiled a 22-26 record. Injuries have plagued the Titans recently. They started their 2013 campaign 3-1, but QB Jake Locker went down with an injury and the season folded quickly.
