Johnny Football is leaping from Saturdays to Sundays.
Texas A&M Aggies QB Johnny Manziel has decided to forego his remaining college eligibility and declared for the NFL Draft, per his Twitter.
“Johnny Football” has been a college football legend since he emerged as a redshirt freshmen two years ago. He took over college football by storm, and won the Heisman Trophy.
In 2013, Manziel’s redshirt sophomore season, he replicated his freshman year productive. However, focus was shifted to his off-field life.
Photos of Manziel at various parties surfaced all over the internet. Additionally, Manziel allegedly collected money for autographs and was suspended for the first half of the season opener. When he entered the field in the second half, the signal caller celebrated points with money hand signals.
Regardless, Manziel has shown flashes of good integrity, and is widely viewed as a Top 10 pick. His ability to electrify offenses and fanbases alike will push him up the Big Board.
