Suggs, Ravens Strike Four-Year Extension

The Baltimore Ravens had a rough 2013 season considering their previous success.

The Baltimore Ravens and DE/OLB Terrell Suggs have agreed to a four-year contract extension.

Suggs and co. won the Super Bowl a year ago, but their 2013 season was extremely disappointing. The Ravens finished 8-8 and missed the playoffs.

As a defense, the Ravens finished 21st overall. Suggs had a productive year, however, as he totaled 47 tackles and 10.0 sacks, respectively.

After the Super Bowl victory last year, the Ravens lost key players such as LB Ray Lewis and S Ed Reed to retirement and free agency. The Ravens struggled without some of their household names, and still are adjusting to the new feel of the franchise.
