Scouting Combine Review (Tuesday)

Tuesday marked the last day of the Scouting Combine.

CB Jason Verrett (above) had a solid Combine performance. The 5’9″, 189-pound prospect clocked a 4.38 40-yard dash along with a 39 inch vertical.

CB Justin Gilbert ran a 4.37 40. The 6’0″, 202-prospect is an explosive returner in addition to his defensive duties. Gilbert’s draft stock got a big boost.

S Ha Ha Clinton-Dix’s 4.58 40-yard dash was part of a quiet Combine performance on his part. Before Tuesday, he only tallied 11 reps on the bench press. He was a fantastic safety in the SEC, and his stock shouldn’t plummet despite an underwhelming Combine.
