The 35-year old only played in five regular season games in 2013 due to injuries. Bailey’s age is catching up to him, and the possibility of switching positions to safety is growing.

I’m a corner at heart. If a situation made sense to play safety, then I would consider it.
This transaction saved the Broncos $10 Million. Bailey was set to earn $9 Million this season in addition to a $1 Million offseason bonus.
Bailey and the Broncos advanced to the Super Bowl, where they ultimately lost to the Seattle Seahawks 43-8.
