With the salary cap increased to $133 Million, teams have more leeway to extend key players, like Shields.
Shields, a 2010 UDFA, has spent his entire career with Green Bay. He won a Super Bowl during his rookie campaign. In the 2013 regular season, Shields tallied 51 tackles and four interceptions in 14 games, respectively.
