Byrd, Saints Agree: FS Jairus Byrd agreed to a six-year, $56 Million contract with the New Orleans Saints. Byrd was one of the most sought after defensive backs.

Johnson, Bucs Agree: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers landed DE Michael Johnson on a contract that will earn him $8 Million per year.

Houston, Bears Agree/Bears Cut Peppers: After losing out on the Michael Bennett sweepstakes, the Bears signed DL Lamarr Houston. Houston has immense potential and is only 26 years old. He replaces veteran DE Julius Peppers, who the Bears released.

Veldheer, Cardinals Agree: Former Oakland Raiders OT Jared Veldheer signed a five-year, $37.5 Million contract with the Arizona Cardinals.

Verner, Bucs Agree/Revis On Trading Block: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed CB Alterraun Verner as they have put CB Darrelle Revis on the trading block.

Cowboys Cut Ware: The Dallas Cowboys released DE/OLB DeMarcus Ware. The Denver Broncos are heavily interested in the edge rusher.

Ward, Broncos Agree: The Denver Broncos and S TJ Ward agreed on a contract.

Monroe, Ravens Agree: OT Eugene Monroe and the Baltimore Ravens agreed to a five-year, $37.5 Million contract.
