Pitta is entering his fifth year in the NFL.
Baltimore Ravens TE Dennis Pitta could have a highly productive season, per the team’s official website.
Pitta, a member of the Ravens’ Super Bowl XLVII championship team, is partaking in new OC Gary Kubiak’s tight end-friendly offense.
While coaching the Houston Texans, Kubiak led TE’s Garrett Graham and Owen Daniels to very productive seasons over the years. When Kubiak was coordinating the Denver Broncos’ offense in the late ’90’s and early ’00’s, Kubiak coached Hall of Fame TE Shannon Sharpe, notably.
Ravens QB Joe Flacco is one of the league’s top quarterbacks, and will give Pitta opportunities to succeed. After a disappointing 2013 campaign, Baltimore is certainly aiming for a rebound year, and Pitta could be integral to their offensive unit.
