St. Louis Rams quarterback Sam Bradford’s 2013 season was cut short due to a torn ACL. Unfortunately, Bradford tore the reconstructed ACL on Saturday.
Rams head coach Jeff Fisher confirmed that Bradford tore his ACL and will miss the season on Monday during a press conference.
Fisher also noted that the team will roll with QB Shaun Hill, who was signed in the offseason. Hill has a career record of 13-13 in the regular season as a starter.
Bradford, who was set to enter his fifth season in the NFL, is set to give the Rams a $17,610,000 cap hit. However, if he is released or traded, he would account for only $7,190,000 in dead money, per Spotrac.
Bradford could be released, but is still on the roster at the moment.
