Golden Analysis: Redskins’ QB Situation

On Sunday, the Washington Redskins defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars 41-10.

However, the ‘Skins weren’t led by 2012 second overall pick quarterback Robert Griffin III. QB Kirk Cousins stole the show while RG3 was sidelined with an early ankle injury.

Cousins completed 22 of his 33 attempts for 250 yards and two touchdowns against the Jags’ lackadaisical defense. The ‘Skins advanced to a 1-1 record.

RG3 was carted off due to an ankle injury. At the moment, Cousins will spearhead the offense.

If Cousins wins consistently in RG3’s absence, a controversy will emerge—if it hasn’t already.
