After an impressive 33-20 victory against the New England Patriots to kickoff the regular season, the Miami Dolphins have been painfully lackluster.
After their 34-15 home loss against the Kansas City Chiefs, the Dolphins are 1-2 entering their Week Four cross-country road game against the Oakland Raiders.
Head coach Joe Philbin stated the Dolphins will “choose the best 46 guys,” per Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald. Philbin veered away from questions regarding quarterback Ryan Tannehill’s status as starting signal caller.
Adam H. Beasley of the Miami Herald wrote that the Dolphins are “irate” at defensive coordinator Kevin Coyle’s game plan.
Lack of confidence in a starting quarterback and in a game plan leads to losses in the NFL. The Dolphins will have to make adjustments to register some wins.
