Chargers Shutout Jets

The New York Jets fell to the San Diego Chargers 31-0 on Sunday.

At halftime, Jets quarterback Geno Smith was 4-12 for only 27 passing yards. It was rough enough for head coach to bench Smith in favor of veteran QB Michael Vick.

The Jets fell to 1-4, and sit in the cellar of the AFC East. Their lackluster performance today extended their losing streak to four consecutive games.

Their struggling offense will need to amp up their game when they take on the Denver Broncos, who recently ousted the previously undefeated Arizona Cardinals 41-20.
