St. Louis Rams head coach Jeff Fisher announced that team will be starting quarterback Shaun Hill in place of QB Austin Davis this Sunday against the Denver Broncos.
When QB Sam Bradford tore his ACL in August, Hill was named starter. However, Hill suffered an injury, and Davis filled in. Hill was healthy earlier on this season, but Davis played well enough in the beginning of the eight-game stretch to remain the team’s starting signal caller.
During the eight-game span, Davis posted a 3-5 record, completed 180 of his 284 passes (63.4% completion), and threw 2001 yards, 12 touchdowns, and nine interceptions, respectively.
Currently, the Rams are 3-6 and are in last place of the NFC West.
