Manziel Replaces Hoyer In Browns’ Loss

Faltering Cleveland Browns quarterback Brian Hoyer was replaced by 2014 first round pick QB Johnny Manziel in the fourth quarter of their 26-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills.

Manziel capped of his first drive with a 10-yard touchdown run. He finished the day with five completions to eight attempts for 63 yards, with an additional 13 rushing yards and a touchdown.

Hoyer has chucked six interceptions in the past three games. The Browns are 1-2 during that span. Head coach Mike Pettine opened up the QB controversy by stating, “it’s not like we’re just going to go back to Brian.”

The fans will certainly want Manziel, who is one of the most polarizing athletes in all sports.
