Despite being yanked out of the Cleveland Browns’ 26-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills, quarterback Brian Hoyer will remain the team’s starter over QB Johnny Manziel.
In the past three games, Hoyer threw one touchdown and six interceptions. The Browns were 1-2 during that span. Patience ran out against the Bills, and Manziel entered the game.
Manziel scored the Browns’ sole touchdown on a 10-yard rush.
However, the coaches opted for the veteran over the rookie. After all, the Browns are 7-5 this season behind Hoyer.
