Gordon Fails Another Drug Test

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon tested positive for alcohol and is facing a one-year ban, per ESPN reporter Adam Schefter.

Under NFL policy, the league began testing Gordon for alcohol after his DWI arrest. Gordon has drawn numerous suspensions during his career, including a two-week ban in 2013, and a ten-week and one-week ban in 2014.

At this point, it’s sad to see such a talented player’s career destruct as the result of off the field decisions. Standing at an imposing 6’3″, 225-pound frame, Gordon is a playmaker—when he’s on the field.

The Browns’ front office will have to decide whether it’s worth keeping Gordon and hoping he can find a way to return to the field, or part ways and move on in their respective paths.
