Maclin, Reid Reunite In KC
Former Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin signed a five-year, $55 Million deal with the Kansas City Chiefs, per Ian Rapoport. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid drafted Maclin in 2009, and coached him through the 2012 season.
Maclin missed the 2013 season with a torn ACL, and signed a one-year extension with the Eagles in the ensuing offseason. Maclin made the most of the opportunity, as he totaled 85 receptions, 1318 receiving yards, and ten touchdowns.
Maclin was born in Missouri, and played college football at Mizzou, and now will play professional football in his home state.
Mathews, Eagles Agree
Ian Rapoport reported that running back Ryan Mathews and the Philadelphia Eagles agreed to a three-year, $12 Million contract. Mathews spent the first five seasons of his NFL career with the San Diego Chargers. He constantly battled injuries during his time in San Diego.
Johnson Signs with the Colts
Former Houston Texans WR Andre Johnson inked a three-year, $21 Million deal with the Indianapolis Colts, according to Jason La Canfora. Johnson was drafted by the Texans in 2003, and played his entire career in Houston until signing with the Colts.
