After an exciting first round concluded, two more days consisting of a total of six more rounds continued in Chicago, Illinois.
To start the second round, the New York Giants traded up to select S Landon Collins. The Tennessee Titans drafted WR Dorial Green-Beckham, and the Miami Dolphins added DT Jordan Phillips to their elite defensive line. DE/OLB Randy Gregory slid to the 60th overall pick and was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys. One pick later, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers selected OG Ali Marpet, a Division III product of Hobart College.
In the third round, the Houston Texans drafted WR Jaelen Strong, who was a first round wideout in many mock drafts. The New Orleans Saints selected QB Garrett Grayson, and the St. Louis Rams picked QB Sean Mannion. The Cincinnati Bengals closed out the third round by picking LB Paul Dawson.
On Saturday, the New York Jets drafted QB Bryce Petty with the fourth pick into the fourth round (103th overall). The Minnesota Vikings drafted OT TJ Clemmings in the same round.
The Green Bay Packers traded up in the fifth round to draft QB Brett Hundley. The Dolphins drafted RB Jay Ajayi.
DT Michael Bennett fell to the sixth round, but the Jacksonville Jaguars drafted him 180th overall. The Cleveland Browns picked CB Ifo Ekpre-Olumu, who was a possible first round pick before tearing his ACL, in the seventh round.
Many prospects went undrafted and will join teams very soon.
