Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Charles Sims is entering his second year in the NFL. Sims has tremendous fantasy upside, especially as a mid- to late-round pick.
Sims shares the Buccaneers’ backfield with RB’s Doug Martin and Bobby Rainey. Martin has yet to replicate the numbers he put up during his rookie season back in 2012. Rainey, a key special teams contributor, was the third-string back by the end of the season.
While Martin currently is the starter, the Buccaneers will give Sims more carries compared to last season. In 2014, Sims was hindered by an injury suffered in August, and played in eight regular season games. Depending on how many touches he gets, Sims has the potential to be very productive.
