The NFL upheld New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady’s four-game suspension.
The final decision can be read here.
Brady destroyed his cellphone around March 6. The report reads:
Mr. Brady’s direction that his cellphone (and its relevant evidence) be destroyed on or about March 6 is very troubling. Rather than simply failing to cooperate, Mr. Brady made a deliberate effort to ensure that investigators never have access to information that he had been asked to produce. Put differently, there was an affirmative effort by Mr. Brady to conceal potential evidence and undermine the investigation.
Brady could challenge the process in court, but for now, he won’t be suiting up for four regular season games.
