Week Five In Review


  • Despite quarterback Andrew Luck missing his second consecutive game with an injury, the Indianapolis Colts defeated the Houston Texans 27-20.
  • The Atlanta Falcons’ picked off a pass from Washington Redskins QB Kirk Cousins in overtime to win 25-19.
  • Cleveland Browns kicker Travis Coons converted all four field goal attempts, including one in overtime that was the difference during the Browns’ 33-30 victory.
  • Cincinnati Bengals kicker Mike Nugent drilled a game-winning field goal in overtime that pushed his team past the Seattle Seahawks 27-24.
  • The Green Bay Packers’ defense forced four interceptions as the Packers defeated the St. Louis Rams 24-10.
  • The Chicago Bears edged the Kansas City Chiefs 18-17.
  • The Philadelphia Eagles’ offense finally starting producing, and helped lead the team to a 39-17 victory over the New Orleans Saints.
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Doug Martin scored three total touchdowns as the Bucs defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars 38-31.
  • The Buffalo Bills edged the Tennessee Titans 14-13.
  • The Arizona Cardinals trounced the Detroit Lions 42-17.
  • The Dallas Cowboys stumbled to their third straight loss, as they were defeated by the New England Patriots 30-6.
  • The Denver Broncos’ defense came up big once again, and a pick-six was the difference during their 16-10 victory over the Oakland Raiders.
  • The New York Giants defeated the San Francisco 49ers 30-27.
  • The Pittsburgh Steelers edged the San Diego Chargers 24-20.
