Denver Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall signed a four-year, $32 million contract ($20 million guaranteed), per NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport. KUSA-TV’s Mike Klis reported that the contract includes a $10 million signing bonus.
Marshall was an integral member of the Broncos top-ranked defense last season. During the regular season, Marshall totaled 76 tackles, 1.5 sacks, four passes defended, two forced fumbles, and one interception. The Broncos defense led the way to a 24-10 victory over the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50.
The Broncos have been trying to strike an extension with linebacker Von Miller, but the two sides haven’t been able to reach a deal yet. Wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders could also receive an extension this offseason.
