Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr threw for 513 yards, four touchdowns, and no picks during the Raiders’ 30-24 overtime victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Carr is the third player in NFL history to throw for 500 yards, four touchdowns, and zero interceptions. Y.A. Tittle (1962) and Ben Roethlisberger (2014) are the other two players who have reached that mark.
While Carr set a franchise record for passing yards, the Raiders set a league record with 23 penalties on the day. The Raiders gave up 200 yards to penalties.
The Raiders advanced to 6-2, and will face the 6-2 Denver Broncos next week.
